Getting Involved

Do you have an interest in Amateur Radio, or in the weather? Maybe you have a ham license already, or are considering one?

Are you interested in serving your community?

Do you want to make a difference?

If the answer to these questions is yes, consider volunteering for one or more of the services TECO coordinates.

All of the services work together, so the things you learn in one will easily apply to the others. SKYWARN storm spotting is managed through an ARES communications net; RACES uses similar practices as ARES, and CoCoRaHS gives you the chance to report on the weather in your own backyard.

You don’t have an Amateur Radio license? We have information on how you can obtain one.

So, what’s stopping you? GET INVOLVED!
