Founded in 2005, Texoma Emergency Communication Organization (TECO) is the organization that coordinates the services provided by ARES®, RACES, SKYWARN®, and CoCoRaHS in Grayson County (details on the services each group provides can be found in the What We Do section of this website). Although most of these groups make extensive use of local Amateur (Ham) Radio operators and resources, TECO is not an amateur radio club.
The TECO management team includes the Grayson County ARRL Emergency Coordinator (EC), the Assistant EC’s, and the RACES County Liaison Officer.
TECO is a registered non-profit organization exempt from federal income tax in accordance with Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. All donations to TECO are defined as “charitable contributions” by the IRS, and are tax deductible to the extent permitted by law.
Donations may be sent to the following address:
Texoma Emergency Communication Organization
1000 Arkansas Rd
Sadler, TX 76264
Every donation of any amount will be greatly appreciated and recognized with an acknowledgement letter; and, if needed for tax purposes, we can also provide a copy of TECO’s IRS exemption letter.
