About Us

Founded in 2005, Texoma Emergency Communication Organization (TECO) is the organization that coordinates the services provided by ARES®, RACES, SKYWARN®, and CoCoRaHS in Grayson County (details on the services each group provides can be found in the What We Do section of this website). Although most of these groups make extensive use of local Amateur (Ham) Radio operators and resources, TECO is not an amateur radio club.

The TECO management team includes the Grayson County ARRL Emergency Coordinator (EC), the Assistant EC’s, and the RACES County Liaison Officer.
