Rick Simmons K5ECX, the Grayson County EC, has released an updated Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) document for the Grayson County SKYWARN® team. A copy of this document has been posted on the SKYWARN® Training page in the “Additional References For Spotters” section. The SOP contains detailed information including what criteria will cause a SKYWARN® net to be activated, how the net will be operated, and the reporting criteria and protocol to be used by spotters. All Grayson County SKYWARN® members are asked to review this document to familiarize themselves with these procedures.
